About Crit Callebs
Crit Callebs lives on the Yakama Nation in Washington State and serves his community as a traditional singer, drummer and food gatherer for the White Swan longhouse. He loves kids and is a proud licensed foster parent and uncle to numerous young adults and teens.
Crit is a professional therapeutic facilitator and certified Grief Recovery Specialist who has mentored thousands of youth and adults in the nation’s leading treatment centers. Mentoring is a lifestyle for Crit and few have his rare ability to teach within diverse cultural and professional landscapes. As the Executive Director of the Peacekeeper Society, a native led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, he advocates to change lives thru community building and native wellness programs.
Crit is a phenomenal storyteller, motivational speaker and workshop facilitator. He delivered powerful keynotes for the 12th “Annual “Globalization, Diversity, Education” and “Alhadeff Future Teachers of Color” conferences hosted by Washington State University. He mesmerized crowds at Harvard University, University of Kentucky, Central Washington University and colleges throughout the United States. Crit has created amazing staff trainings for numerous organizations that inspire, educate and empower. He is truly passionate about helping people reclaim their lives and self-respect.

The Grief Recovery Method® Outreach Program not only makes that possible, but provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens. It is for anyone who suffers from loss no matter what the cause.
Grief Recovery Support Groups
This group meets once a week for 8 or 12-week sessions and is centered in personal discovery, and designed to assist people in completing the pain caused by loss. The group meets together to learn how to heal their heart and participate in activities that help them move forward in a healthy way. This support group uses homework-style exercises designed to help you focus on grief recovery, and is not a drop-in group. It is facilitated by Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Crit Callebs.
Grief Recovery 1on1
The One on One Action Program is exactly what it suggests - you working on your own guided by Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Crit Callebs. The course meets once a week for 7 weeks and is centered in personal discovery and designed to assist people in completing the pain caused by loss. This course uses homework-style exercises and experiential activities designed to help you take action for healing your life.
