Knowledge, skills, songs and stories have always been passed down to the next generation through experiential learning. Cultural camps apply this ancient method of mentoring by using storytelling and hands-on activities to teach culture, history, and traditional skills.  Learning from a mentor is a highly effective technique to empower youth and adults with life-changing insights.

“I sponsored our annual Youth Warrior Camp during the summer of 2014. I was very pleased with the work Crit did for our tribal youth. His stories were captivating for all the kids.  As soon as Crit began storytelling he had their undivided attention. He has a great way and was very understanding to the youth and our camps needs. He helped out even after the camp was done and was very enjoyable to work with. Crit was willing to accommodate our needs and wishes to make the camp a success.  Thank you Crit!  It was great to meet you and I hope to work with you again. lem lempt”
